"severe"?? I don't see that at all. Lisa always looks very professional and her hairstyles are very elegant and classy.
since Lisa has a high forehead, to pull it back like she does, and the large amount of black joan Rivers hair day powder all around her hairline is telling that she needs to have some kind of bang or something not so severe pulling back exposing her receding hairline. I think she is just in a hairstyle RUT.

I've often wondered if she'd be doing herself a favor by giving up on the long hair. She's a pretty woman and I'm sure would look good in a shorter, less severe style.

Never heard her say she uses it.

I don't know that she has a receding hairline, just a very high forehead, but I do agree about wearing severe hairstyles. Pulling it all back is a severe look. She'd look great with a short style with bangs. It would really soften her look. I've always thought a Lisa Rinna sort of haircut would suit her.

I'm wondering if there's a mind set with some who have very high foreheads. One that they are comfortable with the high forehead and want to accentuate it. We used to have a darling TV anchor with a very high forehead. More often than not, she wore her hair pulled back, more severely than LR does. She looked absolutely adorable when she wore her hair down with a bit of bangs. But she seemed to prefer the pulled-back style.
