A blast from the past--we didn't have colored bathroom or facial tissues, but of course I admired them from afar.  The white tp was less expensive, I think.

We used white toilet paper most of the time, but I do remember having printed paper once in awhile. I don't remember solid color toilet paper, but I do remember solid color facial tissues. We definitely had those.

Oh yes, mom always bought colored toilet paper - never white.  I'm not sure about the kleenex, but have strong memories of the TP.  Then I used the colors, too, when I got married. 

I also have fond memories of colored or patterned paper towels.  I liked some of the seasonal patterns especially.  I guess we were polluting the environment and didn't know it.

Yes I remember them growing up.  We were learning about Hawaii in 3rd grade and everyone brought in colored tissues so we could make colorful flowered leis.

Yes we had a blue bathroom and so my mom bought the blue toilet paper.  I remember years later her saying she heard it wasn't good for women so she went back to white.

Yes, I do remember. I spent a lot of time at my grandmothers house growing up, and I remember the colored TP, printed TP and facial tissue. At some point it was just the plain white Scott toilet tissue which I hated because it was so thin.

I used both but discontinued it after reports that the dye could cause problems.

My main bathroom since I have been married has always been blue.  My first place even had double blue sinks, bathtub and toilet.  I bought blue toilet paper to match.

Then I read something saying colored tissue wasn't really safe, so I went back to white.

My hair salon had a peach colored bathroom and toilet paper to match.  I don't think I ever bought any other color or colored facial tissues.

Occasionally, I buy paper towels or dinner napkins that have a design on them.

@CrazyKittyLvr2  I absolutely remember tissues & TP in colors.   My Mom also used to buy SWEETHEART SOAP in pink!   Your post made me smile.  Thank you.
