Does Anyone Know About Cushing's Disease in Dogs?

Hello ladies, my adorable Jack Russell was just diagnosed with Cushing's Disease. Does anyone here have experience with this? Any success stories as far as treatment? The meds seem to be working sometimes, but sometimes he is just not himself anymore, i.e., playful, eating regularly, etc. This is so sad I can't stand to see him lethargic like this. Any info you can give me (googling info is one thing, but I would like personal stories if that's ok) would be so much appreciated. Thank you!
