I never have, and really don't understand the point in doing it. Is there any useful purpose to it?

I see Twitter as being fast at reporting breaking news. I won't do Twitter. I'm very happy using Facebook and always see breaking news one step behind Twitter. Too many meanies on Twitter.

In many cases the old saying, " Better to be silent and thought a fool, than speak and remove all doubt", would apply to many Twitter users. LOL

I do and do not do FB.  I love following all my local news, city government, and police ect.. to get updates and such.  Not to mention other larger media outlets and I enjoy tweets from Reba Mcentire and other artists.   Do not send out more than a few a year myself and mine is secured, so someone must ask permission from me to follow me.  I have denied many after looking at their own board.  Pretty much just use it as a what is going on in my little world.

I use Twitter to organize my news---I have a list of all my favorite regular news columnists and a separate list for all my sports news (columnists, players, team sites etc)....It makes it convenient and easy to have it all on Twitter, I dont have to jump from phone APP to phone APP to get my news, or jump from website to website on my laptop/tablet-----easy peasy....

I just occasionally tweet to someone on my list to ask a question, or comment and have gotten some good info, or nice comments back, but mostly as I said I use Twitter to READ my news and keep up with my sport's teams!!!
