I just thought about this. Wasn't it Jimmy Fallon that did this and not Jimmy Kimmel?
ETA: I just googled it and yes it was Kimmel. Surprises me.

I agree @LilacTree as I find Kimmel to be shall we say on topic but not mean. I personally have a problem with parents doing this. I know teasing is a way of life as I more than lived that with my siblings being the youngest of many, much older siblings but it would have been really tough if my parents had done something like this as I always knew I was safe with them.
It's ok to call me old fashioned but I don't like this particular trend.

I was very shy in my early teen years. We had a group who used to hang around our house a lot because my sister was the absolute opposite of me and very popular.
One time they were out there and my unsuspecting mom urged me to go out and try to mingle with them. So I took a deep breath and went out there.
One of the boys spotted me, took off his sock, swished it in a pool of muddy water and smacked me in the face with it. I ran home crying. When my mom went out to yell at them, they all insisted they were just "teasing" me.
My best years were later in life, fortunately.

Hi LT! Geez, that's some pretty much NOT nice teasing. Well, I wouldn't even categorize it as 'teasing' anyway. A decent person doesn't do things that mean. Glad you came out the other side. I imagine it 'hurt' for a while.
I'm curious - and it's ok if you don't want to answer - did your sister stand up to him at all, or did she agree that it was just some cute little teasing?

Frankly, I don't remember what my sister did or didn't do. And that same guy was after me to be his girlfriend a few years later . . . which never happened.

I hate teasing and practical jokes - not a fan of either. I think there is something wrong with people who get a kick out of making fun or fools of other people.

@LilacTree Too bad. That one just might have been "Mr. Right"......
