Well, I call it thinking out loud. However, more embarrassing is I talk to Sheldon and Lennie, my two boy cats. They try to answer me, but I think they are just being polite.

Yes, not all day, everyday but sometimes talking to myself is they only way I can keep everything straight.

I do that all the time and I even answer myself. Sometimes if trying to decide what I should do, I would say "Should I do this or do that" and I would answer and say "I think YOU should do this" and I usually do. I say this out loud. Nothing wrong with that lol.

Before people would say someone who talks and answers themselves is crazy, not anymore.

@pprmntstx I grew up by myself so I too talk to myself sometimes.  What did I come to the refrigerator for?  Sometimes the dog will back up and bark when we converse!

When I need a problem solved I ask myself what to do & I usually get a good answer ..... if not I ask my dog 🐕 

& she is always right 😂🤣

Sing and hum all the time but not a talker.

sometimes  but mostly I sigh or pray out loud

If I sigh out loud  I say

Oh God help me

I just say it   I have for decades

I have Alexa  I'm constantly saying Alex skip (musirc or whateve)

so once I was going to pray out loud   I said Dear Alexa intead of Dear God
