For Christmas (birthdays etc) do you spend the same amount on each of your children, and (if you have them) the same amount on each of your grandchildren? I always spent the same on each of my children. Now I do the same for my 3 grandchildren.
My son and 1 granddaughter only want a few things this year, (b/c those few things are pricier than some of the things the others want) as in each thing but in the end it will even out in cost but those 2 wont have near as many gifts to open as the others. (because I go by price not gifts).
I am getting nutso trying to match totals. I just cant get them even. All the other years it worked out fine as I went along shopping.
I really think starting next year I am going to buy them each a few gifts to open and the rest in gift cards. My grandchildren are getting older (2 are teens now).
Well I feel like I do when I do our taxes adding stuff up as in ANNOYED. And my husband (who is not big on the holidays) says I told you Christmas shopping is a pain. To that I joked and said ok Mr Grinch..lol.
And this is all of why I usually start shopping in JULY, which I didn't do this year. I am usually finished shopping by now!
