My DH loves to read and gets several magazines each month. I get 2 each month plus we get 2 more. And not to mention the daily newspaper. If I did not throw them out we would be overrun with them. DH always complains I toss them out.He would like to keep every one. I tell him he is welcome to keep them in the garage and he said there is no room in the garage for them. It has not as yet dawned on him that there is no room inside for them either. I let him keep them 3 months then out they go. I tell him if he wants to save a particular article he should scan it into the computer and make a file.

I keep all my decorating magazines, but pull out all the ad pages (or pet care articles, recipes, etc.) as I read them. Amazing how much less space they take up.
I also keep Holiday issues of some other magazines and revisit them each year to get ideas or recipes that might not have attracted my attention the first time around.

toss for sure-there is no need to keep old magazines-too much worth keeping to take up space and create clutter with books and magazines, news papers etc...............

For me, read and toss. Well, read and take to recycling center on our weekly trip there.
For my husband, read.... keep awhile (like 3 months maybe) and then to the recycling center.
The newspapers are put in the recycling stack each day and taken to the recycling center weekly.

I used to save them but then I realized I never go back to read old copies so now I toss them after I read them because they take up entirely too much room and they can also be a fire hazard.

pass them along or toss them if no one wants - recycle, of course

Toss or pass on to others.

I used to keep my Taste of home for the recipes but they quickly became overwhelming so I tossed them. Now, if I want a recipe, I scan it into the computer and save it under my TOH file.

I keep them for a while and then toss them. If there is a recipe or a design I like, I rip out the page and then save them in a tabbed binder that I can refer back to.
I do the same thing with catalogs - rip out what I like and then toss them.
I cannot stand to see piles and piles of magazines, newspapers, catalogs, junk mail lying all over.
