In this last ladies post, it made me remember this commercial:

someone tracked across a floor and there was a line down the center.  Then the woman, had to use a sponge to get the marks out.  Spic and Span always won.

We use to play with that with a chalk and chalkboard.  We were so easy.......

I remember Spic and Span but not really any of their commercials.

This probably isn't the Spic and Span one you mean, but youtube has a bunch of Spic and Span vintage ads, including this one with ladies using these special mops with 2 mop heads that had one using Spic and Span and the other with another cleaner. The Spic and Span side was the winner (of course Woman Wink)

I do remember commercials for Anacin (a testy daughter with a headache "Mother, please, I'd rather do it myself!" then poor old  Mom with hurt feelings slinking off, often mimicked on the Johnny Carson show) and Mrs Olson's Folgers commercials.

The Carol Burnett show reruns now showing often had parodies mocking the commercials that were on at that time, including the Tyd-d-Bol man in his little boat that she always flushes Woman LOL
