on items before you buy them?

We buy a lot of things online and my husband always checks the reviews before purchasing anything. I would have never thought to do that - but now I find myself checking out things I don't even consider buying, just to see what customers think.

The funniest "review" I have ever read was the one for the "bedbug detector" that was previewed on Shark Tank...... Someone wrote in and said it wasn't worth the money because he took it to a hotel and it didn't work - couldn't see a single bedbug.... I don't know if that was meant to be funny or not.... LOL
