You should be able to put a PIN from the remote to block any ordering, then she'll feel better. Call her cable company to ask how to do it.

I know a number of people who do not have a computer. If you've never had one, you do not miss it.

My husband seldom uses a computer at home. Occasionally he'll say, "I need a favor." 9 out of 10 times he'll want me to do something for him on the computer.

It is mostly people say 70 and up that do not. When I was working, the elderly people would say they do not have a computer when I told them to look something up of a certain website. My husband's Mother is 80, and she has a computer but I do not think it is something she uses daily... more like for information.

Yes...I know people without computers....my FIL is one....I have also done charity work and the families we help do not have computers/internet/phones/etc.....yes....there are really people in this country who are too poor to own these items.

yes... those forgotten Americans who fall into that threshold of poor.... Where kids actually go hungry! People do not want to think about them but they are here and barely thriving in our Rich America.
