My mom and my sister don't have one. A man my dad shared a room with in the nursing home had one. He sat and played solitaire for hours. He was wheel chair bound and I'm sure it passed a lot of time for him. It really is a good thing for someone like that. So glad they allow them to have them in their rooms.

Yes, my in-laws. They don't even have a cordless phone for their landline.

My dad is 83 and has no interest in a computer.

He can kind of play around on the iPad but then loses patience - LOL

My mom was computer savvy, had a smart phone, was the first to get an iPad, and loved technology.

no. even my very elderly neighbor from down the street has one and he's 98. he still uses a flip phone. i've tried to talk him into upgrading to the iphone but he's not having it. lol

lol. I have a flip phone. It works fine after 10 years.

Yes. Several. My mom is one, and I recently had a couple pair of great aunts and uncles that passed away, and they didn't have or want them. I have another great uncle and his daughter that takes care of him, and they just got their first computer this past year.

In all honesty, I'd miss mine for awhile, but I lived most of my life without it, and could do so again.

My mom doesn't have a computer nor has she ever touched one. They were just starting to be in the work place when she retired.

She's just happy to know how to work her microwave and her remote control (which still makes her nervous because she's afraid she'll accidentally order something on the cable).
