I'm secretary for a few groups and often need to email members. There are always a few that need hard copies sent--unbelievable.

I have all the latest electronic stuff, but none of my fiends do. It hard talking about things with them.most are still living in the past. Try to explain or show them my Kindle HD Fire and they say, oh don,t need all that stuff. Most don,t want to spend the money on the internet charges. One friend,s daughters, son and grandchildren don,t use a computer. One of the children has to go to the library or school to use that computer for homework. She is in high school, no computer at home.

Well my mom and dad were in their late 80's and I moved in to take care of them....well I hooked up there and it was ..GOOGLE this and that...I was on the computer all day looking up stuff for them......it was so funny they had a ball with me showing them everything.

My mother is 90 and uses a computer. She has several friends that do not have one though. It's hard for a lot of older people to adapt to all the changes that came in during their later years.

My dad had been retired for many years and probably was already in his late 70's when he decided to get a computer. He enrolled himself in a class and used his computer daily until his dementia prevented him.

Yes, I know one of my friends refuses to have one and she also doesn't have a cell phone. Just doesn't want one but she used them on her job so she knows how to use them.

My dad (85) doesn't have a computer and has no interest in getting one and learning it.

My husband doesn't know how to use a computer.

My aunt who's 88 doesn't have a computer either.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

No. If at all possible I do not order anything on-line. I also do not pay bills on-line. Hacking.
