It cracks me up when someone forwards it to me saying they never do this type of thing but decided to this time....and it's about the fourth or fifth time they've sent one on saying they never do.

I get them sometimes on FB.

They are usually amusing - something like, "Mary went home and there was a clown hiding in her bedroom. If you don't forward this, the clown will be in your room tonight!"

I laugh but I don't forward them unless it's to share the LOLs.

My reason for asking is I just got one 2 days ago. It was a recipe thing. I don't have enough email addresses to send it to if I cared to do so.

I thought all my friends knew how I felt about chain letters---apparently she forgot.

Not only do I not join in, if it's something that's not true that I'm being asked to pass on (like cellphone numbers being released to telemarketers, registration on the DNC list expiring, etc.), I'll respond to the ENTIRE mailing list with links to Snopes or Fact Check showing that it's not true and asking people to help put an end to the myth by NOT forwarding it on. It gets me off people's mailing lists for that junk pretty quickly!

We think a like ..I have done this before..especially at work!
