I have 'dog' clothes and other clothes. My dog sheds like crazy so I have old comfy clothes I wear only at home. Then there is everything else, some of which aren't the greatest either.

I gave all my suits and dressier work clothes to a women's shelter after I retired. I go for comfort now.

No, I don't keep clothing til they start looking ratty. I donate the clothes I no longer care to wear. If I find a rip or hole in my tops, they go in the clothing recycle bin at our town transfer station.

Yes, I really do.  But I wear them only around the house, for gardening, etc.

I'm surprised at all of the "no" answers.  I certainly have old, ratty clothes that I wear.  I refuse to put on nice clothes when I go out and cut the grass where I'm going to sweat, get dirty and end up with grass stains.  Then again, I no longer wear make-up when I'm just sitting around the house.

Sure do. I wear them when pushing the lawn mower, raking, gardening and trimming shrubbery. If I lived in a tiny condo, with minimal maintenance required, I wouldn't keep the ratty items.

I have a couple of older pieces that are a bit worn.  I do the same like house cleaning, working out, things like that in them.  I have one treasure I won't let go of and it's my Rolling Stones concert Tee from 1981.........I can still wear it (with Spanx, LOL) but I just love it, it's vintage Smiley Happy

No, I don't.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

@GoneButNotForgotten  -  I have one t shirt that's pretty ratty that I use as a sleep-shirt.  It's so soft with holes, but has some sentimental value.   It's ready for the trash, but for some reason, I don't want to part with it.

I think I'll sew the holes and keep it.  Smiley Happy

Yes, some I wouldn't wear to go any further than opening the foor to get the mail.   Mostly it's my late husband's sweats that he grew out of and some of his tees that I wear as night shirts.   Just hard to get rid of them.   I did have a pair of jeans that I finally tossed because the holes were just too big for even home wearing .
