Do you have expectations of your grown children?

I'm not talking about the basics. Do you have expectations that your kids visit, call, plan get-togethers, etc? Do your kids live up to these expectations?

I don't expect anything from my kids. I don't keep track of how often they call or how many times we see each other. They're busy with work/school/families (and so am I). Should I be looking for more?

I have a friend who says I don't expect enough from my kids. My own mother (68, drives, semi-healthy) thinks I don't do enough of the calling, visiting, getting together with her either.
