I guess I wouldn't say that, hummus is like a light dip, mushy for lack of a better word. 

I try to eat healthy and hummus is very good for us.  I like the flavor of the ones I buy, but you can add to it if you like more of a punch in flavor.

I bought a lemon flavored container of hummus today.

I've never tried hummus. This will sound ridiculous, but I have no interest in trying it.  I've never had chick peas and the name "hummus" is unappealing to me. Ridiculous I know, but there you go.

DH makes it from scratch using fresh / home ingredients - yummy!

My job is to grow and freeze the garlic and cilantro.

He's always being asked to bring it to parties.

best eaten in a cafe in Nahalat Shiva in Jerusalem, along with some techina and fresh pita.  i live on it - but make my own.
