Looking back it seems that QVC bought this 2nd channel but didnt quite know what they were going to do with it...........At first they "experimented" on QVC Plus with taping shows instead of live shows (I remember the taped Home With Jill shows).......then they seemed to take bits and pieces of shows/products and air them on QVC Plus as one show which made a choppy mess.... So now it's Q2 with new shows/new hosts---the problems are not on all cable networks and some dont like watching it on the computer, or if you live stream it, you might get charged extra depending on your provider) ...AND QVC merchandise is too limited to support two channels---it's bad enough on one channel where you see the same stuff over and over and now we have 2 channels to show the same things!!! Beauty IQ was supposed to attract the younger demographic (or so they said in an article I read)....so my question is why have so many beauty shows on the other 2 channels????????? I know beauty is one of the big seller categories, but one has to reach an OVERSATURATION point!!!
Conclusion---QVC doesnt show enough variety and unique merchandise to support one channel let alone 3---

@Shanus wrote:My cable co. gets Q2, but not in HD....impossible to watch with everything stretched out and wrong proportions. Beauty IQ not available at all, so have to check it on my IPad. When I have, not much different than products on the original QVC.
Oh my yes, the picture distoration on QVC2 is annoying...thankfully my Samsung TV has an option for me to change the picture size to take away the distortion .....

I like it because there are, sort of, 3 TSV's now instead of 1.

I enjoy having more choices. I have never watched the beauty channel . I can get Q2 and QVC on antenna tv unless it is stormy then I can watch on Roku. I mainly enjoy fashion and kitchen /home items.

More choices, more deals to be found.

I like the three channels, but I do not watch Q2 or Beauty iQ a lot. I enjoy Leah's new live PM Style show on Wednesday nights on Q2. Gabrielle and Mary also have live shows. I'm hoping with all the new hosts starting soon, they will have more live shows on Q2 and cut down with the recorded shows.
Beauty iQ is great for real-time, complete, full face demonstrations and indepth coverage of each product. They also take questions live from people posting while watching. I enjoy the different vendors, ones I never get to see on the main channel.
I do not watch the recorded shows. I wish QVC would mark which shows are live and which are recorded in the online Program Guide.

I didn't even realize there was more than one Q channel. I "RARELY" watch the Q and it's possible if I stumbled across another one while channel surfing that I just assumed it was the original.

I don't watch nearly as much as I used to.
We just got a Roku tv so I could watch Beauty IQ but I've not yet. Prior to that, I didn't get that channel and I'm not interested in watching it on the computer.
I do get Q2. The shows are live every evening M-F and there are some live shows on the weekend and sprinkled throughout the day. Sometimes I do miss a live show on the regular channel and will catch it in repeat on Q2.
I realized that Gabrielle's AMStyle is pretty much a rehash of Leah's so I'm not sure why they just don't show AMS on Q2 unless they wanted to placate Gabrielle by giving her a show. I do like Leah's PMS show and it's nothing like PMS with Shawn. I also like that Courtney hosts some of the evening shows on Q2. Personally I enjoy her and she really does show interesting ways to put things together.
I really don't get the attitude of it's only QVC for me. All the channels are QVC.

We have all the QVC's here. I rarely watch any of them anymore. Rarely buy anymore.

Personally, I don't think they have enough good proramming to fill 1 station, let alone 2 or 3. I just check my U-Verse TV program guide each day, select the shows I might be interested in, set the DVR, then I watch or FF through them at my convenience. There are seven 24-hour shopping channels on my U-Verse........(get my drift?).
