Do You Think Trials Should be Televised?

I don't. Some people (none here) become so obsessed with whatever case is being tried, that they hang on every word that is said. They think that they know more, know better than the trained, professional investigators do. It's like it has become "entertainment" for some.

It reminds me of the ancient days where people would fill the coliseum to watch the captives being fed to the lions, or someone being sent to the guillotine. They cheered then too.

I miss the "good-old-days" when the only time you heard about a case, was on the 6 o'clock news, or in the paper, instead of the "wall-to-wall", "gavel-to-gavel" coverage.

And no, I don't watch trials on tv. I try to find something else to watch/do when that is on.

Anyway, just my piddly $0.02 worth.

Was Yuban, then changed to Plaid Pants due to forum upgrade, and apparently, I'm back to being Yuban.
