Currently it is 109 on my back patio.  

Even the hummer had the good sense to get out of the heat.

@Pezzie - Oh my goodness!  That poor bird.  So kind of you to let it get some respite from the heat.

 

I'm in New England and we haven't had any hummingbirds for at least two weeks now.  They don't usually migrate this early, but I guess they know when it's time to go.  Smiley Sad

Awwwww!❤️ I could not help but smile for this smart little hummer!😁 I feel a tad sad now because I have been fussing this evening at our 62 degrees, cloudy and breezy weather! I hope your neck of the woods has relief SOON!!!🤞😊

@Tinkrbl44 He is hanging on one of the fan chains. 

The patio is covered so offers him shade.
