Re: Do You Remember Your Prom Dress

For the senior prom I wore a peach gown which had bust darts which landed in a rather unfortunate area. In the pics I look like nip city.

Don't think of it that way, just think of it as looking like Anne Hathaway when she won her Oscar!

I had an apricot dress full length with a matching jacket over it. I believe my dress had spaghetti straps. I wore neutral shoes and bag.

Re: Do You Remember Your Prom Dress

A white cotton eyelet Victorian style dress to one prom and can't remember the other prom dress, might have been a silver brocade mini romper/skort/pantskirt. Probably wore my hair up. Have to dig out the photos.

Re: Do You Remember Your Prom Dress

My prom dress was non existent..lol. I had no desire to go to prom in high school, nor did I date until after I graduated. My friends who went said it was over rated and boring. I had too much fun w friends and going down to the shore every summer.

Re: Do You Remember Your Prom Dress

It was ivory and very beautiful. I saw it displayed in the window of a store in NYC. It was actually being sold as a destination wedding gown. I bought it off the rack and it fit like a glove. My date whom I later married didn't wear a Tux. He wore a tailored black suit and tie. He was a big hit at the prom. He asked several nuns to waltz with him which I thought was so sweet because they were sitting there enjoying the music with no one to dance with until he stepped up to make them feel special. I'll never forget that night.

I was a vision in apricot polyester for my Junior Prom. LOL! Hey--it was 1877 and polyester was IN. I got married on prom day my senior year and skipped it. What a mistake. I knew I should have gone to prom. {#emotions_dlg.w00t}
