I'll think much less of her if she didn't do the show because of "boyfriend problems". How silly. Hoping that's just rumor. If it's not, she needs to move on and get a new boyfriend.

It was a special promoting of her new album. In between her preforming there was her interview with Oprah. It was a lot of self indulgent soul searching, typical O interview. A cringe fest. I think you can find it on U Tube.

Don't really know anything about her, but whatever happened to the "show must go on." I feel for those who made special arrangements, travel plans not to mention the ticket prices. IMO, she should have found some way to compromise at this late date.
@jellyBEAN Just read your post after writing mine and I completely agree with you 110% She should reimburse everyone who bought a ticket for their travel expenses.

If I bought a ticket to her show and it got postponed for whatever reason(s), I would want my money back right away and that won't be the case for anyone who did buy a ticket. Would I buy another ticket for some future show after that fiasco?...heck no! That would ruin it for me for a very long time.

@KarenQVC @Definitely not. She came out and said her crew, I think she said half, but I'm guessing the amount were sick. I'm trying to remember, and I think she said sick with COVID. This would also imply that after the first group of crew members recover, another group could come down with it. It's too easy to confirm this kind of statement for her to use this as an excuse. If she needed an excuse to cover a boyfriend problem, she would have come up with something not so easy to check up on. She could have said, or her publicist could have said, she was cancelling due to other reasons that would not cause legal issues with her contract. If she was diagnosed with depression, she would be ill, and her publicist could have said due to illness, and her contract would not be disputed. If she is having emotional issues, which include the COVID problem, stage fright, boyfriend issues, stage and logistical problems, she had better be going in for professional treatment or the hotel will sue for specific performance of her contract.
If everything is happening to her at once, I can see how it could be overwhelming. I don't think this is due to her thinking she is an entitled diva. She certainly should be given the benefit of the doubt in this and refunds should be issued as promptly as possible.

It would be interesting to learn of the specifics of her contract for this engagement.

It says on Billboard's website that she's not expected to face any serious consequences despite cancelling at the last minute.

NO and, speculating further really isn't useful
