I was accosted at Lowes by a kid of around 25 two years ago, who was following me around trying to date me. I finally told him I was old enough to be his grandmother. He did stop to consider that for awhile, but still said he wanted my phone number.

Maybe I looked rich that day--I don't dress up except for work, but was dressed up.

Weird things like that don't mean a person looks younger. I think I just happened to intersect with a strange young person.

Many women on thee forums constantly post that they look younger than their years. It gets to be amusing.

There is one poster who mentions it almost every post. She posted her pic a few years ago. She is delusional. Highly delusional.

I'm 62. I look like me. Thanks to Manuela an Isomers I have great skin, which has changed some people's perception of how I look. {Also, my hair hasn't turned grey, I have a few silver threads, but my colorist takes care of it.}

I was in the emergency room on Friday night and the attending said "Are you REALLY 62? You certainly don't look it".

To quote Ms. Steinham "This is what 62 looks like".

As I was getting ready to leave the house this morning, I thought of this thread. My eyes have gotten very deep set and no creams, serums or noninvasive laser procedure that lift the skin, can fix that. I do not have hooded lids though. But, my deep set eyes is a sure give away. I have Malley's eye shadow sticks and it does wonders but I was never one to wear that stuff on a daily basis....just for a fancy night out. So....I must go now... with my deep set eyes that were not that way when I was in my 30's or 40's.

Me too, honey, and mine were a small-ish size to begin with.

Plus, I wear eyeglasses full-time, so they appear practically tiny.

And, like you, I don't wear eye makeup - or any for that matter - on an everyday basis.

But hey, the nice color God gave me (a decent shade of green) is still there, LOL.
