I recently was invited to a co-workers home for breakfast...I fell in love with the Mobile Park she lived in and the idea of buying a Mobile Home...I have no idea why...I know no one that has ever lived in one....including myself...

My friend and myself went riding around there, last night, and took down a phone number for one that is For Sale....he called the M.P. manager and I have a chance to purchase it very very cheap....Yes, it does need work...Yes, it is an older place...but the price is good..the lot rental is good and taxes are good...It is mostly senior citizens living there which is a plus for me...

I live in an apartment right now..a very nice place and neighborhood...but I am thinking long term....when I can no longer work....the Mobile Home would be paid for...As it stands right now...the monthly cost will be way lower then the rent I pay here...to almost $3500.00 a year....even factoring lot and tax increase..

I just would like your expereience of what it is like living in a stand alone Mobile Home...
