I am on the 10th floor in my downtown city. The people down on the square and all around is impressive but so are all the building roof tops have people standing on them. The Courthouse right across my conference room window shows men in their white shirts and ties standing on the roof.

just watched full totality in mazatlan mexico via ABC!

how come i keep thinking about that movie DELORES CLAIBORNE all day today? lol

what other movies had an eclipse?

@sunshine45 i had been thinking about Delores Caliborne too!!! when the Eclipse happened and all the boats floating in the harbor and the fanfare!! of course, at that moment Delores was in the thick of making certain that no-good rotten spouse of hers disappeared,,,

today the sky just dimmed slightly and we even had full sun. kind of a nothing burger here.

Yes, I found a local optical store that sold the eclipse glasses this morning not far from home. So glad I found them. Purchased them and got back home before noon.

It was a once in a lifetime experience for me. I'm 73 years old and have never seen a total solar eclipse. I think there was one in 2017 but I didn't get to see it. There won't be another total solar eclipse until August 12, 2045.

I thought it was amazing, it almost brought tears to my eyes. I'm so glad I got to experience this amazing environmental phenomenon.

@Greeneyedlady21 I'm praying that we can say that in two weeks. That should be time enough to tell if something happened today. Not all awful things are obvious immediately.
