Do You Feel That We Consumers Are A Powerful Group?

I alway wonder what would happen, if we stopped buying items made in China, unless the product was absolutely needed.

China holds so much of our debt now. Would they say "buy or else?" What if we still didn't buy? Would China make the products dirt cheap, only to start our addiction to "things" going again?

Or would our own Government help China to get our spending going, by adding incentives (for our own good, of course).

Just wondering...
