Same for me.

@OKPrincess In October it will be 16 years since we lost Mom. I agree with you 100%. I will never stop wanting, loving or missing my Mom.

No. Gone since 2020, at 91, was lucky to have her so long and that we were close. I'm an only child and she was an only daughter "who always wished she had a sister"...so she was happy when she "got a daughter." Miss her everyday. ❤️ I have a lot of wonderful memories of quality time spent with each other.
I do feel empathy to those that didn't have a good relationship with their moms, but I didn't take offense to this post, as I think it was not a rhetorical question...more of an open one that lead to any and all responses, experiences.

My mother passed 43 years ago. I have been without her for a long time.
I am proud to say that she raised me well and enabled me to be able to adult on my own and raise my own family.
She made sure that I didn't need her when I became an adult. I still miss her though.
She was a wonderful mother.

No, I will never stop needing, missing or loving my mom. This Mother's Day it will be 48 years since I lost her. I was 24. We had a close, loving relationship and there are times I could still use her guidance and advice. My dad died when I was 10, so it was just us two. Don't get me wrong,I miss my dad very much too. As others have said, I talk to their pictures. The only comfort is that we will be together again some day.
For those who did not have a good, loving relationship with your mother, I'm sorry for what you experienced and missed out on.
