Yes I do that!

Not always successful because sometimes I have to go way back in time and revive an old thread...

never sure if that is the best thing to do?

Sometimes it's just a timing issue for some.  Two people will write up a post about something fresh off the news.  One person is faster at posting and the second person posts almost immediately after the first person.  Then the self appointed forum police come along and jump all over the second poster.  There really is no need to reprimand someone for that.

Totally agree.  Good grief, it doesn't hurt anyone physically.  We try.

I'm not interested in either of those things.  I don't go searching to see if someone has already posted on my topic but if I happen to see that there is already a thread, I don't start a new one.  I'm not going to put a lot of time and effort into this board.  I'm not going to treat it like it's a job.

@LTT1  It's my understanding that "bumping" a thread that has been inactive for a year or more is against Community Standards. I wish QVC would delete these inactive threads after a year. But that's just me.

No I don’t look to see if the topic was already started. I don’t care if it was. But I don’t post about news items, which likely have already been posted by people who can’t wait to be the first to post about it.

Plus it saves you the trouble of starting the post yourself, lol. You can just go to the post which covers your intended post!
