Do Cats Grieve?

One of our cats was killed this week. His female littermate and mother are either calling all the time or clinging to me. Mom cat did not seem to mourn when we placed two of her other kittens four months ago. Of course, we human parents are mourning, but am unsure what to do, if anything, for his cat family. Thanks for listening, this has been a hard week. Inky was justone year old.{#emotions_dlg.confused1}
