We just returned from a trip to Disneyworld. I was surprised how much planning is necessary to make sure you can experience most of the attractions without a long wait. You need to pre-schedule 3 of your ez passes before you even get to the parks. It is a good concept but if you change your plans and visit a different park as we did, it's impossible to get new ez passes that day because they are gone. I liked the new magic bands though, makes things much easier. We have been to WDW many times but not in the last five years. I don't think I like having a lot of the spontaneous parts of the vacation removed. It kind of takes a lot of the fun out of it. Does anyone else feel that way about their new program?

I am an annual pass holder and I love the fast passes. If you are park hopping then it is difficult. We usually just do one park a day. The lines are so long. I go on My Disney Experience and pick the fast passes or make reservations for a meal. The fast passes although helpful do take away the ability to be spontaneous.

Is there a time when it's not busy (Disney World)? I have only been to Disneyland/ CA Adventures.

I don't know about Disneyland but Disney World always seems to be busy.
