Disappointed and Discouraged...Update on Job

I've been away from the boards for a little while but wanted to share an update to all you wonderful ladies that wrote well wishes for me. Okay, so I started the job about a month ago and went in with positive spirit and hope, but that didn't last too long. The office itself was fairly small (about 10 people) but was a branch office. So my first day I wasn't greeted with much enthusiasm by the three other admins and was rushed to my desk and was hurriedly showed my computer and was just helped with login info. The one woman who I thought would be showing me the ropes or at least explaining things to me pretty much left me to fend for myself and took off to her desk and proceeded to do her own work. As I looked around, I noticed the office seemed unorganized and understaffed and the other 2 women were just pounding away on their keyboards totally oblivious to everything around them. Whenever I had to ask a question, I would get a short answer (in a not so nice tone). Again, no explaining or training of how things were done there. And to add, there was no office manager either in this location. Needless to say, each day became more frustrating and stressful. I even went to the head boss regarding training and he apologized and explained to me how the office was turned upside down due to some layoffs and people leaving and not being replaced. He promised to get me some help and training, but that never happened. I realized I had made a bad decision to take this job. None of this was ever brought up in my interview and the person that interviewed me actually played up the place so much. Boy, was I deceived. I was crying going home every night from the situation and made the decision to leave. It was really that bad and I still can't get over the attitudes of these women (I'm talking major nasty). Now, I'm just numb and feeling blah and sad and wondering if there are any decent places to work out there. Oh well, thanks for letting me vent and thanks for listening!
