Just saw a photo of Kim Kardashian and her daughter, North West.

The child was dressed all in black - again.

The only black I dressed my daughter in was black patent leather dress shoes.

She was all dressed in girly pink, purple, etc. Bright, cheerful colors, and no imitating what I might wear.

She was dressed like a LITTLE GIRL.

It's a shame Kim is so monotone in her look. Why do this to a beautiful little girl?

Maybe that's why she doesn't smile.

We had this same discussion, also featuring Kim K., not long ago. It turned out there were several posters who had either dressed their little girl in black or knew others who did.

A Target search also showed 50 black dresses available for little girls.

It's nothing new or only involving a Kardashian.

She is a little doll and they are trying to make her a fashion statement. Wrong on so many levels. She is a child and should be dressed as a child ... comfy. If the clothes she has been seen in are comfy ... so be it. If not ... put that child in something else. She is a child and not an accessory.

Since I'm here, I will just say that it's her baby and her choice. I'm sure there are pics of North West in other colors besides black?

Kim has said she doesn't smile because it causes wrinkles. I think she doesn't smile because Kanye doesn't smile. Both look like they are brooding--all the time.

yeah sometimes we do have the grans in black.........baby girl was here yesterday and after her bath, I had her in a pair of black leggings with a white with black polka dot top....baby girl is olive complected, black hair and dark brown eyes, she looks good in black.........but then...... that child looks amazing in any color LOL...........................raven

If I had had a little little girl, NO! No gray either. And nothing that is a miniature of adult styles. I also hate that they do that with baby boys. That's what I love about the Brits. Baby clothes look like baby clothes.
