Did my thread get ugly?

Today before going out I posted a thread and saw it had replies but had to leave sooooo I never read them. It was about some bank exec someplace, giving a $1.33 tip on $133.00 and writing get a real job on the check to the server. I said a server is a real job (my daughter is one and works hard and makes 200 to 300 a night) and thought the man was rude in writing that to the server. (like the guy who wrote a note to another server saying she needs to lose weight). Did the thread get ugly? Or cant we write about mean bank exec customers? lol.
