Par for the course...

This was brought up on the Fashion Board the other day. I'm so sorry that Sandra has had to go through something like this.
IMO, QVC hung her out to dry. People have been very cruel to her.

I have not read one comment from somebody who actually saw the show that said Sandra did anything wrong - they all say she is innocent.
Many sites are only posting a 14 second snip of the show. The slightly longer version shows that Sue Clifton comments on how, if you look at a photo 10 years from now, that your bag will still look good. Sandra elaborated on that trail of thought and said that you may not like how your hair looks, but your bag would still be in fashion. Regardless of which version the site shows, the sites that talk about it have already definitively stated that Sandra was talking about the model, Michelle's, hair. They are reporting in a very manipulative manner.

wonder why Q felt the need to remove the video of her with her natural curly hair and replace it with one of her with her hair that had been straightened instead?? that only added fuel to the fire!

Perhaps if one is not a regular viewer they could possibly get a negative impression but it's still quite a stretch. The Q is live unscripted TV. The camera isn't always creating a narrative. All of the women involved in this controversy (if you can call it that) have always been very professional. I'm disappointed that this is happening.

I agree. Poor judgement by those in charge.

I don't necessarily blame many of the people negatively commenting on it. The fault lies with the media sites reporting deliberately inflammatory stories that are simply not true.

QVC did make it worse. People have called Sandra a liar and a r-cist.
