Re: Did QVC's Price Adjustment Policy change again???

Just to clarify - Customer Service mentioned nothing about the sweatshirt being a "holiday" item.   The item isn't on clearance etiher or a "lunchtime special"...it's simply has "sale price" advertised.    I was told that I couldn't get the price adjustment due to the item no longer being available in the size and color I ordered as that was their "recently changed" policy.   Like many of the Q's customers, I buy things that I like and at the price advertised but when I happen to see the same item advertised for a cheaper price and it's within the 30 day window, why wouldn't I want to get that credited back to my account?   To me, that's just a sensible request.

@JulieBean   I'm sorry you didn't get refund, and weren't aware of the policy. Sometimes stores don't make it clear to us. They may send us policy changes with a bill, but who really scours all that? But they have done their legal job, by somewhere posting.

most store I know do have a policy they will refund difference within a time period, if item is available in what you ordered. In other words if the item you have purchased is not available, then no refund. I received a 300 refund one time, when ring I purchased went on a sale less than a week later.

Re: Did QVC's Price Adjustment Policy change again???

I think QVC puts items on sale when there's only a limited number of sizes or colors available. So I can understand why they wouldn't want to give a price adjustment unless the buyer's size/color is still available.

I've generally found QVC to be very generous about price adjustments. That no longer seems to be the case with other major retailers.

Does QVC automatically send out an email to QVC Customers when their Terms & Conditions change?

Otherwise, how would Q Customers possibly know Q's  T&C's changed?

@JulieBean.  That's the first I've heard about the size and color having to be available.   Did you consult the website for any policy changes?

I suggest you contact the social team by email including your order #.

I definitely would not expect a price adjustment on a holiday item after the holiday.

Ditto.

Not a holiday item.  I only ordered it several days ago.

Re: Did QVC's Price Adjustment Policy change again???

To me the policy makes sense, whether I like it or not. What they are saying is, they will refund you the difference IF what you had ordered is in stock.  Just Like you wanted to order.  If it isn't in stock, you wouldn't be able to buy it anyway. Many stores do this. I know Nordie does.
there was a time when the Q didn't do this at all, ever.  Because they never had sales, ever.  So,etimes they had a one time time only.  The only time they had sales was after Christmas and new years when they had the annual sale. Mostly Christmas stuff. Internet wasn't up back then. Sales, AS IS procing, clearance is a fairly new thing. I will say some companies, if you are a top customer they will do it one time.  I don't think qvc makes any exceptions, nor does the Afent have authority to break rules. Lol
