Re: Did QVC's Price Adjustment Policy change again???

@JulieBean

Seems to be many complaints on QVC never was like this many decades ago. QVC has changed not in the benefits of customers. HSN in my experience always honors price adjustments. No problems. HSN my favorite! Your not alone others have experienced the same issue. Good luck! In the future you might consider shopping elsewhere.

This is from the QVC website:

What is your price guarantee?

Our focus is always on our customers and sharing products brought to life through the power of storytelling via our distinctive video platforms and other touchpoints. No matter which way you choose to shop with us, QVC offers a price adjustment if we lower the price of your item and you contact us within 30 days of your order date, except as stated below.

A few things to know…
Current promotion code offers, final clearance pricing and/or shipping promotions cannot be applied to previous orders. Limited-Time special offers such as Today’s Special Values, Lunchtime Specials, etc. are valid only during the timeframe stated.  If your item is featured as a limited-time special offer within 30 days of your order date, price matching for your item is available only while the limited-time special offer is in effect and is not available once the limited-time special offer has expired. We do not match prices being offered by other retailers; we only match QVC prices for the identical, in-stock item—identical in item number, brand name, size, weight, color, quantity, and model numberPrice adjustments are not available on shipping and handling or tax.

Re: Did QVC's Price Adjustment Policy change again???

I do love to shop, and I shop many, many places.

QVC IMO always had the most generous price adjustment policy. I remember getting refunds for just a few dollars on items I purchased, because since they offered the refunds, I always checked everything.

Shop HQ changed their policy to only give store credit for price adjustments.

High-end stores like NM and Saks are very strict. For Saks, you have seven days only, and they must have the same size and style.  For NM, you have ten days, and you must have purchased the item at the full price.   There are no adjustments on sale items if a price is further reduced.

So, any more I just consider the price of a QVC item and decide if I truly am willing to spend the money.  I see a LOT of bargain prices on QVC (Lunchtime and Prime time specials), but many times the sizes are very limited, so I understand this requirement of size availability.

I think you are expecting a bit much.  If it wasn't too much when you bought it, and there is nothoing wrong with it, you should not expect a price adjustment.  To handle all the price adjustments that would be asked for would mean a whole slew of employees to handle the paperwork.

This is common in the retail world. No slew of employees. Everything is computerized. it's quite simple. They issue a refund.

Re: Did QVC's Price Adjustment Policy change again???

Years ago the price went down on a desktop computer system - I remember David V making an announcement and I also saw it online - they were automatically adjusting the price for anyone who had purchased the system at the higher price.  I was so impressed by this I always remembered it.

How times have changed.

Anymore if I see a lower price change within 30 days, I just email and ask for it. If they give it to me fine if not, oh well I tried.

@JulieBean.  That's the first I've heard about the size and color having to be available.   Did you consult the website for any policy changes?

I suggest you contact the social team by email including your order #.

Re: Did QVC's Price Adjustment Policy change again???

Hi! @JulieBean 🤗

I would either call back or email the team like @Kachina624 suggested.

@Catch71 Noooo it’s Not time consuming for customer service. They tell me it’s very easy and offer me the option to credit my account or issue me credit.
And whether you buy ALOT or a little the adjustments can add up.

Today I got an email from Sephora with a “How to Use Video” attached and noticed that the makeup I just received in this email went down in price from
$47 to $32.

Did I call for a price adjustment? YOU BETCHA!!

Always pay attention to what you buy because companies are constantly changing prices.

Oh and in less than 2 minutes the Sephora Rep credited me.

And I did a one minute survey after regarding her service. 🤗

Re: Did QVC's Price Adjustment Policy change again???

I used to really take advantage of price adjustments. I think I have only gotten one or two adjustments since the policy change. I was not aware that my exact item still has to be in stock for them to honor the adjustment. I think that sticking point is going a bit too far. Clearly QVC is struggling, so they are going to button up any revenue leak that they can. Best to be satisfied with what you paid and not check the price again and get mad about it (which is what I do, lol)
