I much prefer to shop in a brick & mortar store.  I like to see it in person first.  But most times when I go to a store, they don't have what I'm looking for and in general not stocked well.  It's not just clothes, bedding, coffee maker, etc.  It's the everyday items.  I had to go to 3 stores to find a certain Tylenon product.  My daughter uses pimple patches that I can't find in 4 Target stores near me.  I needed tags for a garage sale and drove all around town before I gave up and bought them from Amazon.  I do not like to return things.  I especially dislike going to UPS and the post office.

I lived in a medium sized city with lots of discount stores, drugstores, department stores, and groceries. I have definitely noticed less stock and variety across the board. 
I prefer shopping in person, but there are a few items I use regularly that I can only find on Amazon now. I also prefer to try on clothing before buying, but stores aren't carrying as many styles in various sizes. I hate returning things too.

I am not physically able to shop at B/M stores anymore, so online is a life saver for me.  I will say that I don't shop the Q like I used to mainly because of the most of the hosts who are so hyper, loud and obnoxious.

I shop a lot of online retailers.
