I was trying to point out that that is different from the posters here who are saddened and/or offended by the OP because they are caring for loved ones who have incontinence as a result of a serious or debilitating disease or condition. It is difficult as a caregiver to handle a loved one who has incontinence and it is just difficult to watch a loved one suffer with incontinence, so they will not find the humor regarding incontinence. They are not joking about themselves. That's all.

I didn't say that ..

MY point is that people cope and grieve in many different ways...

My mom found humor when she was dying..I bought a long, blonde wig when she was first diagnosed and she never had the chance to wear it so one day she surprised me and had it on with a REALLY wild head band..It was HILARIOUS! That was one of quite a few jokes..

I am THANKFUL I had those laughs with her...
