Today my husband and fil took my mil to have her defibrulator reconnected (somehow the wires detached) well instead the heart doc and surgeon decided to turn it off. Between all my mils ailments they decided this was the more humane thing to do, and it really is, she and her family had so many heart problems, she is the only one left.
I have a question, does anyone know how long she may have to live? My mom lived for 4 months after, I just do not want my fil to go through something terrible this time of year. He already hates the holidays, for reasons unknown, I would hate this to effect him even more.
Thank you.
