Not necessarily. There are many other scenarios that cause people to die suddenly.
@jackiejenny I think that's a huge and uncalled for assumption. Maybe it is a code for MYOB.
Maybe I should have put on mine: Passed as the result of an unexplained incident last month. Although witnesses have been interviewed, no charges have been made at this time.
Give people something worth reading!

It’s perfectly natural to wonder @Allthingsgirly67 . I am also wondering the same thing. Just ignore the rude comments. It’s pretty standard around here.
I didn’t see anything in your post stating they owe a cause of death. As you can see “confirmation bias’ at it’s best here. Just take what fits your agenda and disregard the facts.

I can't think of a good reason for wanting to know cause of death. Unless the family wants to tell us or give an alternate site instead of flowers, it's none of our business.

I really wonder if her husband, employed by CBS himself, is aware of it. Her cousin put it up @Allthingsgirly67 .

The same thing happened in NJ this week when the Lt. Gov. died after being admitted to the hospital. At the time she was Acting Gov. while the Gov. was on vacation in Italy with his family. No mention of cause.....

It's human nature to wonder. Died "suddenly" and "unexpectedly" does not always mean suicide or drug overdose.
We had some suicides in the extended family and close circle of friends over the past 3 years. The families did list the death as:
suicide
lost their battle with depression
drug overdose
Family/friends also included the local mental health helpline phone number in the obit. They did it to plead with people thinking of suicide that there is help available and not to have your family suffer. Remember, someone has to find the body--usually a family member. They also listed the cause of death so they didn't have to answer any questions from others. They didn't want speculations either. Many people were shocked. Some people didn't/couldn't believe it--genuinely distraught--not thinking they were "entitled" to know or anything else. Some of the bereaved were so distraught, they couldn't even find the funeral home and they lived in the same town!

The family makes the call , but honestly it's none of my business .
If you are a close friend then you can speak directly with a family member .
