Hello dear friends. I don't usually post, but when I do, it's always on this forum. I read it every day and you are all so very nice.
I feel totally lost today and could use some words of encouragement. My Mother passed from this earth this morning. I have had so many things to do not to mention a 5 hr car drive alone. I am still operating on "cruise control" like a robot or something. I have not yet broken down and feel like if I allow myself to do that, I will not be able to get the rest of these services planned and helping all these out of towners come in for services and providing food and so on and so on. When do you ever allow yourself to grieve. I miss her so much already. She was my good friend as well as my mother and I was blessed to be her daughter.
I know I will have to read or say something at the service or funeral. I have seen such beautiful poems mentioned here for our beloved furbabies. Does anyone have any good suggestions on poems, sonnets songs suitable for funerals? I think we are highering a soloist (soprano) to sing at the service.
Thank you for hearing my venting. Just this little bit has helped. I know this should probably be on a different forum but I feel like my friends I share most with are here.
