Interesting thought.

I doubt offered work at Disney World, but most assuredly welcomed at Disneyland.

Anyone else find the interaction with the Wed night ITKWD "sidekick" host & David a little cringeworthy?

@shellwwwwww   8 hours?  You do realize all hosts work many hours when they're not on air?

Coupled with their QVC & QVC 2 hours, add the hours they have management meetings every day, tape videos for the streaming channel, and meet with vendors on products.  Plus David had to travel to Chicago two weeks ago to learn more about the Good Housekeeping products.

I give them all credit for earning their paycheck, whether I enjoy specific hosting or not.

@shellwwwwww The hosts,I think, work many, many hours. They have to prepare for the shows,be in make-up, learn a little about the products they present.

I think you are a little innocent, unless you have knowledge we all do not know........

Maybe being he is no longer eating carbs and not eating the food during the show, he has lost that connection, not being able to do his trademark happy dance while tasting the food. I don't watch many cooking or food shows.

@Redshoes07 My thinking is along those same lines. When dieting, a person has a different relationship with food. He has lost the love relationship he once had. Now he is going through the motions of doing a job and earning a paycheck. I hope he is planning a new adventure and will jump the sinking ship we call QVC.

Agree I think he is thinking of retiring maybe living in Florida writing more books and having a real life out of the spotlight. Sometimes people work till they drop no retirement and no golden years don’t think he will do that. Can’t say the same for a few at the Q who really should retire and keep trying to reinvent themselves.

Are they getting "alittle long in the tooth?"  Some of them have been there for decades.
