@Puzzle Piece Those are some interesting thoughts!

There are people that do want to 'disappear" and many years ago C2C actually had an author on who had written a book on how to do just that. It's harder now with all the electronic tracking and wish they'd have the guest on again. I requested him a long time ago but perhaps he too has disappeared!

(sorry but I no longer recall the guy's name).

So I guess the older I get the ,more of a skeptic I become but where is his proof for all these missing people stories he tells.  I watched 15 minUtes  of the video about people missing in the national parks and I wanted to ask him where is his proof for his allegations.  For example, two NPS rangers approached him with these allegations about lots,of people going missing.  No names provided.  He knows lots of people in law enforcement so,he asked them to do some research on this and they called him back and confirmed what he had been told.  Again no names of these friends in law enforcement.  Over and over again he makes statements with no facts to back up his allegations.

you know if I wanted to,sell books I could make up stories and get up in front of a audience and sprout supposed facts with out needing to back any of it up if no one questioned where I was getting my. Information from.

Missing people in the National Forests may also encounter very, very, bad people.  Lot of illegal rops are grown there, hidden by the forest.  Should anyone stumble on one, they often times never return or are never heard from again.

@KathyPet, I read both of his books, he uses plenty of names. I think his intentions are on the up and up.

I remember when a physicist from a nuclear development facility where I had worked went missing on a solo hiking trip in Yosemite. Never came home, searchers looked for many months. Then, many years later, bones were found by an itinerant hiker, turned out to be his, he apparently fell.

But not all missing people can be so explained. David writes about another girl in Yosemite that vanished in apparent full view. Maybe she was kidnapped. You have to read the books to get the full eerie on some of the missing people.

I think I caught a snippet of his comments.  They were discussing disappearances in our National Parks.  Fascinating theories.........

David was a guest on Coast the other night and the host played the phone message that a missing man left for his wife. The recording gave me chills and my blood turned cold. I can be a cynic, but during the recording you could hear growls and groans and eerie noises and then what sounds like pleading from the man that disappeared. The missing man's poor wife had to hear her husband leave that terrifying message on her answering machine. Very frightening . FBI investigating these cases now.
