Big Letterman fan here. Never a Leno person, Fallon is beating all of Leno's numbers.

Dave did things that no one else could do. I will miss him.

His personal business never bothered me. I guess it would be like Bill O'Reilly fans not caring about his tawdryness ${#emotions_dlg.laugh}$

Stupid pet tricks, stupid human tricks, the Velcro wall, the people in the street interviews, Larry Bud, and so many more made David Letterman stand out from the crowd. Johnny Carson always wanted him to take over the Tonight show when he was gone, and wrote jokes for Letterman until he died. Carson didn't like Leno, and neither do I.

Maybe Letterman has become obsolete, but there is no question in my mind that he was more talented and innovative than Leno ever was.

I so agree Reese. I still love the Top 10 List. I will miss him.

Leno is my favorite late night guy, but I did like Letterman occasionally until he got mean. I know these guys aren't angels, but what Letterman did to his girlfriend/wife, whatever, with the interns was disgusting.

I disliked Leno. His was just not my type of humor-kind of old-fashioned. Dave is quirky and I like quirky.

Count me in as a quirky Letterman fan. Leno was never in the running as far as I was concerned.

I agree too. Leno wasn't very good at interviewing. I always felt like his show was very dumbed down humor.

Are you still a Bill O'Rielly fan? He did the same thing. I really do not care what any of these people do in their personal lives.

Unfortunately there are many pigs out there. If their wives take them back who am I to say anything.

he used to be so clever/sharp - now delves into the mean. i don't like mean. he should have retired before this and more would miss him.
