YAY!  Finally a guest judge who is actually qualified to judge!  Although I object for the same reason that I object to Juilanne Hough judging (aside from not liking her) - Maks also has a sibling in the show!  Major conflict of interest!

This People article reveals what Bindi is getting paid to be on the show.  It also describes a rather bizarre legal hassle going on.

The salary is pretty darn interesting.

I just read in People magazine that Noah Galloway and his fiance Jamie broke off their engagement.   I kinda wonder if that whole proposal on the air thing was a ploy to get viewer votes.

Well, they all get paid well for this show, but then they should. After all, this show makes millions using these people as the format of their show. The thing about the judge requiring her father's signature on the contract  is just plain weird. I don't understand that at all, unless he is totally out of the loop somehow.

I always thought the proposal was so phony.  I never for a moment thought that she didn't know he was going to do that.   It was too staged.

I feel the same way about this season's announcement of the s x of Nick's baby.   I do not believe that they did not know beforehand that they were having a boy.   

It seems like every year they have to either have something dramatic with one of the pros or dancers or else they try to have a moment where all of the audience just goes ahh.

I love the show but I always have to tell myself that it is reality TV after all.   It's all about the ratings.
