Dan is one of my favorites.   He was on at midnight and said something that surprised me.   He was selling the tsv and said  if his wife was here she would love these.  She loved flameless candles.   Did something happen to is wife?

@hardware mom Dan's wife of many years Beth passed away a year or so ago.  Dan isn't one who inserts his family into every sales pitch, but judging from what he shared with the public on Facebook she was a lovely woman whom he loved very much.

Beth Wheeler died on 10/30/15.  If you Google her name there is more info about her life.  Dan had a weekly blog here about their journey.

Dan is one of my favorite hosts. He is just an absolute gentleman. He seems like he would be totally kind and easy to get along with.

I've seen him jump in on the spur of a moment when another host became ill, and he did an absolutely fantastic job without even having time to familiarize himself with the merchandise.

I felt so bad when he lost Beth to cancer. I hope he is doing well.

I rarely watch QVC live and when I do I don't know any of the new hosts.  What a change.  But I do remember Dan and I really like him. I wish him well.

Since her death, he has a new granddaughter who is named for his wife.
