Damm Yankee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought the Blu cigareete i am using it as i'm typing it isn't strong though but better than nothing. There were a few there at walgreens but i didn't want to ask anyone working there because the store was busy and i was kind of shy to ask for help as i didn't want people staring at me knowing i am a smoker you know the looks you get now a days lol.But within the next hour i will be looking through that site that you mentioned for something better.By the way i had a cig. this morning before i headed out to walgreens.Last night was torture.I just hope all this is worth it.I don't want to know if years from now i got sick anyways.Thanx for all your help i do appreciate it a lot.

Re: Damm Yankee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are so welcome, Brandonlee!!!!

I know, those Blu e-cigs are pretty weak and so HUGE, but it will keep you and your husband from killing each other. That's always a good thing... lol. If you need any help wading through that site, give me a shout. I know that it's overwhelming as can be. There is sooooo much stuff on there.

Don't be shy about asking for help. Anyone who sees you and thinks anything might think how great it is that you're quitting. Some may be smokers who wish they had your courage. Some may be former smokers who know how hard it was for them to quit and silently applaud you.

Be strong...one day at a time.

I agree...you have to start some where and if this helps...buy them proudly.

Re: Damm Yankee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You hope it is worth it??? Of course it is!!!

Think of the money you'll save, how much better you and your house/car will smell, not to even mention your health. Think of all the people who love you and will be so happy to have you around longer and to not have to smell that awful stink anymore, lol.

Seriously, people who smoke become immune to it. I was just at Target in the toothbrush aisle and a nice looking lady came walking towards me and all of a sudden all I could smell was stale cigarettes. It was so strong and so nauseating and I couldn't get away from her fast enough.

I smoked myself when I was young and tried several times to quit before I was finally successful. It is a battle but SO worth it. You CAN do it. Something that helped me was to start calling them cancer sticks and to picture myself with emphysema or lung cancer dying. I know that is harsh but it truly helped me to quit.

Hang in there! I've gone down that path myself & I know how hard it is, but it's worth it to get off that stuff.
