Daily Positive Thread for Tuesday

Peace of Jesus to you all! As we are in the Lenten Season, let us not forget what He all did for us! Today was my dentist's appointment - it went well, they talk about a crown, but I talk them out of it, not necessary and oh! so much money! It it does become necessary in the future, it'll have to wait until we can afford it. But it was just the cleaning, and it went well. Linus went to Dr. Mike, our chiro, and he adjusted him from the falls, he said his neck was off, so that got adjusted and he goes back again Wednesday morning. He talked to him about the Effixor - anti-depressant drug, and it's been 28 days now, and he said the chemical should be out of the system now, guess that alternative holisic med is helping. Please continue your prayers for him that he can be fine without it. I thank you sincerely!

As you draw closer and closer to God, you won't have to tell anyone

because it will show in your face. Lord, teach me Your ways as I am

ready and let Your love and peace flow through me even in my difficult

moments.

Scripture for the day:

"I can do all things through him who strengthens me."

~Philippians 4:13

Meditation for the day:

I can believe that my faith in God's power can accomplish anything.

There is no limit to what these two things can do. When we believe,

anything can happen. Saint Paul said: "I can do all things through him who

strengthens me." All walls that divide us from other human beings can fall

by our faith and God's power. These are the two essentials.

Everyone an be moved by these.

Prayer for the day:

I pray that I may try to strengthen my faith day by day. I pray that I may

rely more and more on God's power.

STAYING FAITHFUL

There was once a certain man who walked out into the middle of a field where

he would not be interrupted by anyone. He raised his arms toward heaven,

then with tears streaming down his face, trembling with fear, he began to

shout. He, with all the strength in his being shouted out to God saying

"I just can't take it anymore. I have been used, abused, beaten, cursed,

laughed at, lied to, and sneered on. I have tried to love exactly how You

asked me to. I have turned the other cheek hundreds, even a thousand times

until my cheeks ache. I have given even when I had to borrow so another

might survive. I have prayed and cried for many who do not know You God. Oh

God...I am tired, worn out, and discouraged trying to fight the evil that

buffets my soul. I feel You have turned from me God, I feel like this is

more than I can do! God, do You really even care!"

Then he heard a voice speak softly within his troubled heart. The voice

said,

"Yes I am here, I have never left. You know nothing of how many souls have

watched you in your struggles, your pain, and your perseverance. You know

nothing of how many souls have turned to Me because you have stood against

the wiles of evil, not breaking, but standing firm. Many have seen your pain

because of your testimony of Me and they will stand without excuse before Me

because of your life before them!"

The voice continued within this man and said, "If I ask of too much pain

from you for the sake of other souls, then go into your house and do

nothing; I will find another who is willing to give for the sake of lost

souls. I will find another who will walk through the suffering and pain even

as I allowed pain and suffering in Paul, Peter, and all those who went into

this world of sickness and evil so others might know Me!"

The man fell upon his face ashamed and then the love of God lifted him to

his feet. He looked up to heaven as his entire being began to experience a

refreshing and a new strength. He whispered,

"Lord, I am ready to go back and love; even unto death." And as he walked

away,

he heard a voice say,

"Well done My faithful friend.

Prayer for Help

(From: Praying God's Promises)

Lord God, you are everything to me. My spirit rejoices in you, my Savior.

Thank you for seeking me when I was lost and for finding me. Thank you for

choosing me to go forth and bear lasting fruit in your name. Thank you for

enabling me to bear fruit for you, Lord. Without you, I can do nothing.

You are good, O Lord, and you are always ready to forgive. Thank you for

your plentiful mercy in my life which I always receive when I call upon you.

You are always there to help me; therefore, I will never be confounded. I

have set my face like a flint, and I know that you will never let me be

ashamed.

You truly are a very present help to me, and I am receiving your help even

now as I pray. Thank you, Father. You are my refuge and strength, and

because this is true, I will not fear anything or anyone. You are in my

midst, and I will not be moved. You are always there to help me speedily.

You are with me, Lord. Knowing this, I will be still. I know that you are my

God. Thank you for your constant help in my life, Lord.

A Prayer for Lent

Lord our God, you formed man from the clay of the earth

and breathed into him the spirit of life,

but he turned from your face and sinned.

In this time of repentance we call out for your mercy.

Bring us back to you and to the life your Son won for us

by his death on the cross,

for he lives and reigns for ever and ever.

Amen.

Greeting Mary

Hail Mary, hello, how are you?

I greet you with love,

And I thank you for being available.

Deeply, I breathe your roses,

The twelve fresh roses you place in my spirit

Every morning when I say hello to you.

Full of grace are you,

Grace spilling over Heaven's boundaries

Into my world, living water, bread and wine,

The unmerited favor of God

That you come carrying to me,

Your arms always full of gifts.

The Lord is with thee,

Jesus Christ the Messiah is with you,

And you teach me how to recognize

That the Lord is with me.

Blessed art thou amoung women,

Glowing with love for Jesus,

Pure blessedness never tainted

But alive with holy beauty.

And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus,

The most blessed of humanity,

Delivered through you, Virgin Mary.

Jesus, the most cursed of humanity,

Who became a curse for me

So that I might be blessed

With his resurrection life.

Holy Mary, Mother of God,

Teach me to value motherhood,

Help me pray for mothers and fathers

To love and support each other.

Show me how God loves you.

Pray for us sinners now

And at the hour of our death.

Pray that I can live each moment

Consecrated to love, to Christ,

That I recognize each now

As the moment of salvation

So that I die prepared for eternal life.

Pray that I can crucify my passions,

Those passions that make me a sinner,

And that I can die to sin on the cross with Jesus

As you look on weeping and praying

But joyous, knowing that resurrection follows.

Hail Mary, full of grace,

The Lord is with thee.

Blessed art thou among women

And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God,

Pray for us sinners

Now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Blessings to all who post and read here. I am blessed because the sun is shinning and it is 40 right now. Going to get cold tonight though. Spring is coming.

Blessings to all who are ill and needs God's help. May He help you.
