Hello my friends! Well today started out with going to the dentist for check-up and cleaning and I got the works! X-Rays and probing - very thorough job, and first time I had a male hygienist. I am to floss first before brushing, and brush twice a day! I thought once was enough. For supper I made a meat loaf out of ground turkey and it was very delicious!! There you can have your meatloaf without red meat! Also baked potato with it. Lunch was tofu Peanut Stir Fry with all kinds of veggies from the garden, and was that ever good! I have more to make another time. I mixed it all together in a big bowl and used half for tonight, so today I cooked but didn't get the carrots frozen I planned to, that's going to happen tomorrow, God willing. My husband is quite the blessing for me, always, and today he vacuumed all the carpets, and when the vacuum wasn't picking up right, he investigated and here a belt was broken, had another one so he fixed it and now the vacuum works like a charm!! Thanks be to God for all my blessings and yours. Please come and share yours with us.

Meditation for the day:

I know that the vision and power which I can receive from God are

limitless as far as spiritual things are concerned. But in temporal

and material things, I must submit to limitations. I know that I cannot

see the road ahead. I can go just one step at a time, because I do not

have a longer view. I am sometimes in uncharted waters, limited by

my temporal and spatial life, but unlimited in my spiritual life.

Prayer for the day:

I pray that, in spite of my material limitations, I may follow God's

way. I pray that I may learn that trying to do God's will is perfect freedom.

Like an Only Child

A woman who was dying of AIDS summoned a Christian friend to comfort her, but it seemed hopeless.

“I'm lost,” she said. “I've ruined my life and every life around me. I'm headed for H ell. There's no hope for me.”

Her friend saw a framed picture of a pretty girl on the dresser. “Who is that?” he asked.

The woman brightened. “She's my daughter, the one beautiful thing in my life.”

“Would you help her if she was in trouble, no matter how many mistakes she'd made? Would you forgive her if she asked you to? Would you still love her, no matter what?”

“Of course I would!” the woman exclaimed. “Why would you even ask a question like that?”

“Because I want you to understand,” explained her friend, “that God has a picture of you on His dresser, too.”

GOD ANSWERS PRAYER

I know not by what methods rare,

But this I know - God answers prayer,

I know not when He sends the word

That tells us fervent prayer is heard.

I know it cometh -- soon or late:

Therefore we need to pray and wait.

I know not if the blessing sought

Will come in just the way I thought.

I leave my prayers with Him alone,

Whose will is wiser than my own.

Lord let me capture the pure spirit of a loving child when I speak Your name.

Let me pray as a child prays, asking little for myself,

Protect me, sleeping and waking, from evil.

Do Not...

Do not... undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others. It is because we are different that each of us is special.

Do not... set your goals by what other people deem important. Only you know what is best for you.

Do not... take for granted the things closest to your heart. Cling to them as you would your life, for without them, life is meaningless.

Do not... let your life slip through your fingers by living in the past nor for the future. By living your life one day at a time, you live all the days of your life.

Do not... give up when you still have something to give. Nothing is really over until the moment you stop trying. It is a fragile thread that binds us to each other.

Do not... be afraid to encounter risks. It is by taking chances that we learn how to be brave.

Do not... shut love out of your life by saying it is impossible to find. The quickest way to receive love is to give love; The fastest way to lose love is to hold it too tightly.

Do not... dismiss your dreams. To be without dreams is to be without hope; To be without hope is to be without purpose.

Do not... run through life so fast that you forget not only where you have been, but also where you are going.

Life is not a race, but a journey to be savored each step of the way.

How do I find You God?

God is Love.

If you have ever loved,
