Daily Positive Thread for Tuesday

Hello my friends! Well hope your day went better than mine. Sure had a big problem with my charter account this afternoon when I noticed I had 8 in my outbox that didn't send, so I called Charter, no luck, they wanted me to call Microsoft because I have Windows Live, called there, they just kept flashing credit cards at me, so I would have to pay for just a question, no way, hung up. Went to my tech support that takes the curser all over and tries to fix things. They ended up creating a new account for me at Charter, and it seemed to work, lost all my folders, but emails kept coming into my inbox that had to be sorted, lots I deleted! Well, now my inbox is cleaned out, I just sent an email to my list, and it's in the outbox. So guess I'll be getting ahold of those people again tomorrow until it's straightened out. Sure hope they can. So I've been working on this since this afternoon and it's now past midnight. On the positive side, I still have my MSN account that works. My blessings today was an understand husband who made sandwiches for us because I had no time to cook. He worked 7 hours today. Here are some inspirations. A lot are gone!!

The most important things in life can't be held in your hands. Lord, may I
never be shy in showing the people in my life how much I value them.

"'Well done, good and trustworthy servant; you have been trustworthy in
a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy
of your master." ~Matthew 25:23
M E D I T A T I O N F O R T H E D A Y
"Well done, good and trustworthy servant. Enter into the joy of your
master." These words are for many ordinary people whom the world may
pass by, unrecognizing. Not to be world-famed, the proud, the wealthy, are
these words spoken, but the quiet followers who serve God unobtrusively yet
faithfully, who bear their crosses bravely and put a smiling face to
the world. "Enter into the joy of your master." We can pass into that
fuller spiritual life which is a life of joy and peace.
P R A Y E R F O R T H E D A Y
I pray that I may not desire the world's applause. I pray that I may
not seek rewards for doing what I believe is right.
WHY GOD GAVE US FRIENDS
Author Unknown
GOD knew that everyone needs
companionship and cheer,
He knew that people need someone
whose thoughts are always near.
He knew they need someone kind
to lend a helping hand.
Someone to gladly take the time
to care and understand.
GOD knew that we all need someone
to share each happy day,
to be a source of courage
when troubles come our way.
Someone to be true to us,
whether near or far apart.
Someone whose love we'll always
hold and treasure in our hearts.
That's Why GOD Gave Us Friends
You Are...
You are strong...when you take your grief and teach it to smile.
You are brave...when you overcome your fear and help others to do the same.
You are happy...when you see a flower and are thankful for the blessing.
You are loving...when your own pain does not blind you to the pain of others.
You are wise...when you know the limits of your wisdom.
You are true...when you admit there are times you fool yourself.
You are alive...when tomorrow's hope means more to you than yesterday's mistake.
You are growing...when you know what you are but not what you will become.
You are free...when you are in control of yourself and do not wish to control others.
You are honorable...when you find your honor is to honor others.
You are generous...when you can take as sweetly as you can give.
You are humble...when you do not know how humble you are.
You are thoughtful...when you see me just as I am and treat me just as you are.
You are merciful...when you forgive in others the faults you condemn in yourself.
You are beautiful...when you don't need a mirror to tell you.
You are rich...when you never need more than what you have.
You are you...when you are at peace with who you are not.

Re: Daily Positive Thread for Tuesday

Good Morning!

Gloria: Hope you're all squared away now. It sounded like a nightmare. I hope you didn't lose anything important. It was nice of Linus to help out, and I'm sure you were happy to get to bed and not look at a computer. The voice mail reading you posted was very cute!

Today I'll try to get some of the work done that I'd hoped to accomplish yesterday. A trip to town will need to happen as well, so it will be a good break. My hips aren't cooperating very well. so it will be slow going for sure. The snow has melted a good bit so far, and maybe if it stays warmer a little longer, it will be gone. It's so pretty to look at when it first falls, but now....not so much. The large piles throughout the yard from plowing will probably be here until May.

I try to throw bread out for the birds in the winter, and the cats love to watch them. We have a glass storm door, so they have a good view. Yesterday, a squirrel came up to the door a few times to check out the cats. One of them tried hard to get to the other. I could hear the commotion in the other room. I may need to keep that door shut and let them look out the windows so that nobody gets agitated. I don't trust glass that much! lol

Wishing all who will post or read today a great day. Hugs, pinky

Gloria so sorry you are having so much trouble with your Charter account. It looks like you might have it all straightened out, I hope so. Isn't it funny how these companies keep blaming each other when they don't want to be bothered.

Counting my blessings and blessings to all.

Re: Daily Positive Thread for Tuesday

Pinky Ann - I think I'm okay now - I chatted again with the techs and got those sent out now to my list. But my tablet won't send out now - that's because of the new settings they did yesterday on the computer, so have to take my tablet in to that place again that fixed it last time a couple days ago. Hope it will work. Yes, it was difficult yesterday, I was up until after midnight cleaning out my inbox that had about 3,000 emails in there from various folders etc. for my list. I deleted a lot of them. There were some there from 2011. That Voice mail I posted I just love!!! It's a repeat - like just about all are repeats, because not everyone sees them all and yet some repeats are good to read again, I find that. I bet that is cute watching the kitties with the birds outside and the kitties wanting to get them through the grass. Nice entertainment for them. Birds too.

Harlene - I know. Charter does nothing to help but they sure do charge big! My cousin, Shirley, has Charter for her main one, but she only uses her hotmail account. I'd do that with my list except that it has a limit. All of a sudden while I was sending out my list there, I got a notice saying I've reached my limit, no more that day. So that doesn't work I have gmail - that doesn't seem easy at all to do my lists. But Nadine sends my list to me from her gmail account always. Anyway - enough about computers. I've been praying to St. Isidore - he's supposed to be the Patron Saint for the Internet. The Internet needs a good Patron Saint!!

Bobbie-sue - Glad your care is running good. Do they have Masses on Wednesday nights at your Church? Ours doesn't, just in the mornings and Saturday nights. Just wondering.
